Touchy business ordonance disposal

 Touchy business

A figure that I found while cleaning up was a part finished Ordinance technician, he was painted and based but had nothing to disarm so I added a missile head I had in spares and some guidance fins so it looked like a guided 230mm rocket assisted round, then made some green stuff sand bags. Not sure if he will ever be used in a game but you never know. The miniatures is from Wartime miniatures Australian army range.

Team Yankee .....Fail

A game put together loosely based on a total assault of a combined heliborne and armour thrust using every bit of armour I could muster for my Polish and Soviets, my Americans and Brits. The thrust was a complete victory for the soviets as the NATO dice rolling was disasterous.

Wartime Modern Russian Federation Infantry

Modern Russian Federation Infantry

Just off the painting desk some of Wartime's new Modern Russian range, suitable for the end of the cold war and post cold war battles.

The figures are superb with excellent detail, I especially like the weapons, I painted them in two different variations of the Flora and woodland camouflage patterns. These figures really suit post 1990 (body armour and the new helmet), I have painted the 6B23 body armour in plain reed green as the original issue, now it is available and many different flora, woodland and digital patterns.

These chaps will be for my modern skirmish gaming.

Cold War Americans

Some of "Wartime Miniatures" latest release of Cold War Americans, still missing the support weapons which are currently being sculpted, the whole range is close to release I believe.

These figures can be used from 1963 (adoption of the M16 and M79) to 1981 (adoption of BDCUs and the Kevlar helmet)so will do for any cold war period american army, these figures could also play the part of any American equiped army of the 70s and the 80s, in fact they could even be used for any imagination nation if one is inclined.
